The S1050 solar charger is a compact, lightweight, and easy-to use solar charger for cell phones, MP3 players, GPS, blue tooth devices, and AAA NiMh batteries. For the best performance and usability, always have two rechargeable NiMh AAA batteries mounted in the charger. Solar energy is stored in the batteries, so charging your MP3 player is possible even at night.

How It Works

S1050 solar charger uses the power of the sun to charge two triple AAA NiMh rechargeable batteries, in just one hour on a sunny day. The thin portable chargers just need a sunny or shady spot to go to work!

Sleek and slim, the S1050 solar charger fits on a window sill. Once the batteries are charged, the S1050 will work anywhere to charge your devices. The unit is glass free and durable.

Use Indoors or Outdoors

Temperature doesn't affect the charger. Solar chargers do not lose performance when the temperature exceeds 77°F (25° C) as under actual outdoor operating conditions. In sunny situations, it will charge a MP3 player in 2.5 hours (See chart for additional charging times).

This unit is great for camping, hiking, or sitting in an airport. You do not need a power outlet if using the S1050 Solar Charger.

Lightweight

The solar conductor is constructed by depositing extremely thin layers on flexible stainless steel substrate. Typically the panel is 1 millimeter thick. You can carry it with you!

Durable

The charger is exceptionally durable and is strengthened by being encapsulated in UV stabilized polymers. Glass-Free solar chargers protect solar cells by DuPont polymer films instead of fragile glass.
